"So you combust?"

"Yep."

"Spontaniously?"

"More or less."

"More or less?"

"Yeah. I can explode if I want to, but if I don't choose by will but my body does it anyway, I can't stop it."

"How often does that happen?"

"Not much. Actually it's pretty rare. Kind of like real spontanious combustion, only slightly more common."

This was the conversation going on between the two nobodies Zilx and Xtalviz.

Why am I putting this like a reserch paper? It's a narrative! I'm Zilx, number 36 of the Organization New-Order, previosly Organization XIII (they changed the name after a butt load of new nobodies came flocking in)

Anyway, as I said before Xtalviz and I were on a mission in the jungle of Jungle Book. Nice name. We had been changed into animals for this mission, seeing as we would be less noticeable that way. Right. He was a leopard and I was a leopard cat, the leopard's much smaller, much cuter cousin.

We were on this mission to find Sher Kahn, the evil tiger dude, and if possible retrieve his nobody. Man was it hard! I'll start from the begining, well almost the begining, it'll be after the conversation I wrote just above.

So we were walking along, actually I was more or less running trying to keep up, when there was a rumbling in the earth. Just ahead there were elephants stomping around coming toward us! Well, needless to say, we got out of their way fast. In doing so we found this little python. He was moping around complaining about some "man-cub".

I, being the brave one I am, walked up to him and asked if he could show us where Sher Kahn was. He, being the hungry snake he was, tried to eat me. Thank God Xtalviz was there, otherwise I wouldn't be here to tell the story. After a little "persuasion" he said he would bring us to the tiger in the morning. We took shelter in a tree and slept there for a few hours. Well okay, we didn't sleep, we were nocturnal cats and all, but we did rest our weary paws.

In the morning the python, who's name I didn't bother taking, brought us to an open field. He gave us a warning that Sher Kahn wasn't normal and slithered away laughing. I crouched down, preparing for an attack.

After a few minutes the heartless of the tiger came crashing into the field. I sprung from my hiding place and landed on the heartlesses back. Xtalviz followed my lead and grabbed the tiger by the neck, careful not to break the spinal cord (do heartless have spinal cords?). Unfortunately the tiger broke his grip and started bucking to get me off. I clung tight and exploded lighting the cat's back on fire. He started bucking harder, determined to get me off. And it worked. I flew off and hit a tree. The last thing I remember before passing out was seeing Xtalviz attacking the tiger.

A few hours later I woke up in the organization's infirmary.

"Where am I?" I asked.

"You're back home," I heard a voiced, laced with depression.

"Xristene?"

"Yeah."

"What happened?"

"You apparently got thrown into a tree. After catching the heartless tiger Xtalviz raced you here. Luckily you weren't deathy injured. But if he hadn't have gotten you back here so quickly, you could have suffered some major spinal injuries."

"Wow. Is he okay?"

"Yeah, he's fine, talking to the superiors right now."

"That's good. Hey Xristene?"

"Yes?"

"When he comes back, tell him I said thanks."

"Why can't you tell him yourself?"

"Because I'm about ready to pass out again."

"Oh, okay. I'll let him know."

I barely heard the last part, I was already slipping back into unconciousness, but I managed a weak nod before I was completely gone.



And that is how my first mission played out.
